October 23, 2015 – Greenwood Village, CO – The Living Urn™, a leading biodegradable urn and planting system, presented its Living Urn™ for People and exhibited at the 2015 National Funeral Director Association (NFDA) International Convention and Expo from October 18-21 and successfully signed up over 30 new funeral home channel partners.
Mike Walas, one of the founders of The Living Urn™ commented, "the recent NFDA Expo exceeded our expectations and we were successful in signing up some of the largest funeral homes in the U.S. to sell our new Living Urn™ for People. This is a spectacular start and we expect to start working with many more funeral homes across the U.S. over the coming months."
The Living Urn™ is a patent pending biodegradable urn and planting system that allows for a healthy and vibrant memory tree, plant or flowers to grow from a loved ones cremated remains so families and friends can keep their loved ones present in their lives after they pass. The developers of this product worked for years with leading arborists and soil scientists to develop and perfect a system that makes it easy to successfully grow a tree from cremated remains by incorporating a seedling, or a baby tree, as opposed to a seed which can pose a number of significant challenges to a novice tree grower. As Walas explains, “we spent a long time in development to come out with a system that avoids the limitations of other products on the market and actually makes it easy to successfully grow a healthy tree from cremated remains – we feel very strongly about this, especially because it involves the remains of a beloved member of the family”. This unique product only uses all natural, biodegradable components. As an all-in-one system, it comes with everything that’s needed to grow a healthy memory tree, plant or flowers from cremated remains.
