Memory Forest Expands to 35 Locations with New Facilities in Minnesota and Wisconsin

Having a Memory Tree planted with The Living Urn tree urn and cared for at a Memory Forest is now possible for families in Minnesota and Wisconsin thanks to an agreement with Prairie Oaks Memorial Eco Gardens, LLC, and their locations in Inver Grove Heights, Bemidji, and Wadena in Minnesota and in Amery / Saint Croix Falls in Wisconsin.

Memory Forest is the latest innovation in cemeteries. As an alternative to traditional caskets, urns and gravestones, Memory Forest offers a new, uplifting way to commemorate and honor the life of your loved one and to give back to the earth.  At Memory Forest, families can grow a beautiful and enduring Memory Tree with a Living Urn containing a loved one’s cremated remains.   Memory Forests give families who don’t have a yard, access to a special place to grow their Memory Tree that they can visit and enjoy for generations to come.  It is also a great option for families who may be moving to have a permanent resting place where the tree can grow and thrive.

The agreement with Prairie Oaks allows The Living Urn to expand Memory Forest in a part of the country where the demand is high for this special bio urn and planting system.  Mark Brewer, company President, commented, “The Living Urn has been in high demand in Minnesota and Wisconsin as well as throughout the rest of the country. People in these states tend to love the outdoors, trees, and nature. We’re excited to open new Memory Forest locations in both Minnesota and Wisconsin with such a reputable group as Prairie Oaks. These locations will provide families in these states with a beautiful permanent resting place for their loved one’s tree memorial.”

Brewer continues, “Based on the rapidly growing interest for The Living Urn, along with a surge in the amount of people choosing cremation over burial, we’re excited to continue to expand Memory Forest to new locations throughout the U.S. We expect to launch new locations in Texas, New York, Colorado, Washington, and Florida over the next few months, and plan to have over a hundred locations by year-end and over two hundred locations within the next three years.”

“With Memory Forest and The Living Urn, we’re committed to replacing tombstones with trees and cemeteries with forests. We’re honored to be a leading driver of this movement of meaningful, affordable and environmentally friendly after life options.”
