Forest of Remembrance at Oakridge Cemetery

Goshen, Indiana

The Forest of Remembrance at Oakridge Cemetery is located northwest of Goshen’s bustling Main Street in the heart of picturesque Elkhart County, Indiana.  The Forest begins just north of the Mapleheart Bicycle Path and east of the historic Brick Street in Oakridge Cemetery.  Launched in 2019, this undeveloped tract allows a loved one’s cremated remains to be buried under a newly planted sapling tree—or a tree can be planted to commemorate any season of life.  About a dozen tree choices are offered at any given time to ensure biodiversity.  Trees are sourced through local nurseries for maximum hardiness.

Trees Offered: Native Species to the Area
